I had an HP Envybook 13 (Model: 13-ab023TU). This model was quite 'famous' for its bad hinge. The two hinges of my laptop not only broke themselves but also damaged the screen. Finally, I just removed them both, and what was left was this old baby! I've got to say that it looks like a headless body LOL!How I Brought My Old Laptop to New Life

OK, end of memories.
The keyboard and the control panel are not good as well, but luckily my portable monitor has them both. Unfortunately, the USB-C port of my headless laptop does not have DP function, so I have to use another HDMI cable to project the screen. (PS: If the USB-C port of the laptop were fully functional, I would only need ONE USB-C CABLE)
This old baby only has 4GB of onboard RAM, so besides Windows or Linux, I decided to use a special system. It is a Chrome OS-like operating system called Fyde OS. After installation, the old guy is able to run the Chromium browser, Linux apps, and some Android apps at the same time. And when the devices run properly, they look like this:
As Fyde OS can run some Android apps, this is how it looks when I watch some lectures on TED. (PS: The monitor screen is NOT touchable, sorry for my hand if I made any misunderstanding.)
I will make the headless Envybook an entertaining device and link it to the TV to watch online videos.
In case anyone wants to learn more about the operating system that I downloaded or the devices I used to finish the installation, I put the links below. If you are interested, just help yourself.
